  4. If Adam wrote a comedy it would be called "1000 Doubleunders."

I finally figured out how to do them with that slight forward-bend jack knife position (note to blog readers - try kicking your legs out in front with a bend in your body to get the rope under twice, not lifting heels up behind you like you did in the playground)

However I only get about ten in a row then lacerate my body with the jump rope and trip up.
Practice makes perfect? In awe of the 1000DU club.

  5. what she is describing is a level 1 progression. Think butt up behind you slightly. This will teach you to jump straight up without bending the knees. It will increase your efficency. Later you jump regular no leg bend

Have a huge whelp on my wrist from the jumprope--pissed at it.
I'm doing most of these workouts but not posting them. Am also currently obsessing over breathing ladders.
One additional note on form: it's important to get what part of your body is driving your motion whether you do a level 1 progression as described or if you can keep your body straight. Body tension (the whole trunk) is key to a smooth, rythmic movement which is advantageous when doing 1000 of these things.
